Day 1 Jose and Mark Arrive

Started at the public drink stand
They have a smoking room the size of a dog kennel. We met Jesepi from italia and his what we assume is his Japanese lady of the evening for the night .
Met up with Dia and Zabeer the newly weds on their honeymoon.
The mushrooms were the best part. We also had Mac and cheese with ketchup…idk what it is with ketchup but they are obsessed with it. There’s a pasta that’s popular here that is ketchup, milk, and butter as the sauce.
Bout to tear up the karaoke bar
Jose is falling asleep
I’m singing cold by crossfade while Jose is crossfaded. We started throwing towels at him we got to 5 before he got up.

I picked mark and Jose from the train station at 630 pm and good on them for being down to go out and explore almost immediately. Jose obviously will have a much worse hangover than me this morning…my head was pounding so I can’t sleep writing this at 5am. Jespepi was my favorite part of the night mostly because he kept ordering us tequila shots and whiskey high balls (dangerous tastes like water). In the first bar you actually ring a bell and each time you ring it they bring out tequila shots. The Izakaya we went to was great the mushrooms oh man they were so good and super tiny. I’m enjoying smoking cigarettes inside even if it’s in a 2×2 hotbox. The karaoke bar is awesome you pay like 20 bucks a person for all you can drink, 1 hour of karaoke. We stumbled back to the hostel acquiring some much needed family mart takyaki.
