Day 1.5 Uneo Park

The culprits of my diarrhea
No stepping on the toilets
The holes naturally occur in this species of tree and they are all around Tokyo
Purified at the shrine gotta follow the steps. Left hand, right hand, pour in left hand and drink, set spoon down and cleanse it.
Hundreds of these birds in the pond
Prince of…no idea forgot to take a pic
Ulysses Grant had no clue this guy even served 2 terms as president. There was a tree they planted behind this to commemorate him visiting Japan in the late 1800s

Gate to the Toshugo Shrine

Someone gotta trim these trees
Tokyo National Museum
Uneo Museum Park. Absolutely massive area probably twice as big as Central Park
Waking to get some melon bread and a latte forgot to take a pic of them but this is a cool street shot of the Tokyo Skytree.

Everyone is very nice although because I’m American it seems every conversation is about Trump. These people know more of our own politics than I do. Some Australians that I met said that Trump hired his personal “pool guy” to redo the National monument in DC. When I was getting some melon bread (tastes nothing like melon but more like an almond croissant) I grabbed some tongs on the counter to get one and the cashier lady flipped her shit and grabbed them out of my hand screaming in Japanese. No touching the tongs. I’m waiting for the other two members to get here but man my stomach has been rocked today. Travel tip stick to rice, soup, and bread the first day or two because I’ve used the bathroom 8 times in the last 5 hours.
